The SeaWatch Diving Store was founded on the idea that every newly certified diver needs to purchase diving equipment. The first store opened in 2003 in Budapest. This shop was only 50 m², and in addition to selling equipment, it also offered rental and equipment servicing.
The second store opened in 2004 in Veszprém. This shop was bigger than the one in Budapest and offered the same services. Due to increasing demand and our role as a national distributor for several brands, we merged our stores and opened the biggest diving store in Central and Eastern Europe in July 2007. This new location was spread over two levels and nearly 700 m².
The year of 2025 marked another milestone in our journey, as we moved into a newer, more modern building. At the new location, we continue to expand with a larger inventory and additional brands.

Our company is also the regional representative of Scuba Schools International (SSI) and represents several diving equipment brands in the region. We continuously expand and deepen our brand and product selection to meet as many customer needs as possible.

We launched our first webshop in 2008, which focused exclusively on sales within Hungary. In early 2013, we introduced a new webshop, available in multiple languages, targeting Romania in addition to Hungary. This new webshop led to significant growth in online sales, encouraging further development and expansion. This ultimately led to the current 1.0 version, which launched in 2017.

In December 2022, our webshop underwent a major update and development, marking the launch of version 2.0. As a result, we can now serve orders from any country within the EU. Our momentum continues, as we constantly improve our webshop and expand our product range. A new addition in 2023 is swimming pool products and accessories.
