The Dual Adj 62X controller is the smallest and most compact first stage Mares has ever produced. It is therefore the perfect travel companion for divers all over the world. The Dual ADJ second stage is pneumatically balanced with the PAD (Pneumatic Assisted Design) system, so it provides comfortable and easy breathing in all situations.
First stage 62X
The 62X sets a record as the smallest first stage on the diving market: 63 mm high and weighing only 464 g (DIN). This small but powerful diaphragm first stage is 10% smaller and lighter than its 52X predecessor and has 30% less volume.
It is equipped with Auto Sealing (AST) technology, which provides protection against water entering the first step.
The core of the 62X has been redesigned to create an even better seal, making it an excellent respirator for cold water diving. With the addition of the optional Twin Balanced Piston (TBP), this is one of the best performing regulators in cold water.
The design is chrome-plated with a mother-of-pearl surface.
Technical innovations on the inside of the first stage include a new valve seat that is now sharper with a smaller cone radius and a reduced angle to better define the sealing surface.
Dual Adj second stage
The Dual Adj second stage is made of ultra-light technopolymer and provides smooth and easy breathing at all depths. It has a pneumatically assisted design (P.A.D.) and the exclusive Mares patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system. With the help of the newly developed adjustable button, divers can experience a personalized breathing experience even when wearing thick gloves.
True to the Mares brand, the Dual Adj 62X exceeds performance standards at 200m and uses proven technology at 400m. This highly advanced transmission system offers high performance at a very competitive price while providing all the features that today's demanding divers need. Equipped with Superflex hose.
