Recommended professional connection:

In order for the Pontaqua Hot Splash heat pump to be able to heat the pool cost-effectively and with adequate performance, and to keep the pool water at the desired temperature, we recommend the following connection method.
Connect the heat pump to the bypass branch, after the filtration, before the blower. It is best to branch it off with a 45-degree T-Connector, and back with the same one, wired as intended.
It is also necessary to build a non-return valve in the bypass branch so that the stronger filter-water circulation pump does not suck the water back through the heat pump.
Due to possible dismantling, it is also worth installing the usual 2 ball valves.
Important!

The heat pump can only properly heat and maintain the pool water at a temperature if a pump circulates the water. The constant operation of a high-performance pump is not cost-effective, we use a lot of energy unnecessarily. With a smaller additional pump, energy costs can be kept low, and the heat pump can also provide maximum performance.
