Pontaqua Liquid water analyzer set

This liquid water analyzer determines the free chlorine and bromine content of the pool water, as well as the pH value of the water, so the chemistry can be modified according to exact values. The set is enough for more than 100 measurements!

To check measurement data:

The ideal CL content: 0.5-1 mg/l
The ideal pH value: 7.2-7.6


INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF WATER ANALYZER KIT

1. Remove the closing cover of the measuring cells.

Fill both measuring cells with water from the pool to be tested, up to the height marked on the measuring cell.
Take the water from a minimum depth of 45 cm.

2. Put 5 drops of R-0001 and 5 drops of R-0002 solution /yellow vials/ in the measuring cell marked "Cl Br".

3. Put 5 drops of R-0014 solution /red vial/ in the measuring cell marked "pH".

4. Put back the closing cover of the measuring cells.

5. The water in both cells becomes discolored.

Against daylight, compare the degree of discoloration with the color scales indicated next to the measuring cells.

The values ​​that can be read from the color scale indicate the pH value and free chlorine content of the swimming pool water in mg/l.

The ideal CL content: 0.5 - 1 mg/l

If the value is lower than this, a chlorine-containing agent must be added to the pool.

The ideal pH value: 7.2-7.6

If the value is higher than this, a pH-lowering agent must be added to the pool.

Comment:

Rinse the measuring cells well after each use. /Not in the pool!/

It is advisable to store the water analysis kit in its own box in a dry, cool place.

The test is carried out in the early morning or late afternoon before water treatment.
